It's officially 3 weeks today until our favourite (and last boo!) festival of the year - BESTIVAL!
We all attended last year and had the most magical time so are unbelievably excited to see what's in store for us in a few weeks. So far the line up is looking like the best ever and we've heard there's still a few more acts to be announced too! We absolutely cannot wait to relive the 00s with a bit of Sean Paul on Sunday and to see our fave Craigy D again (he was insane last year).
Bestival is one of the most thought out festivals we've ever been to with lots of intricate and quirky details wherever you look and there is SO much craziness to embrace. Every day is a fancy dress day for us but everyone especially goes all out on the Saturday of Bestival and this year's theme is: THE FUTURE
We've made a little sassy moodboard for futuristic outfit and make up ideas at the bottom of this post, expect to see us as futuristic metallic rainbow bots inspired by Pam Hogg S/S 2016!
Keep up with our Bestival 2016 shenanigans over on our Instagram: @confetticrowd and under the hashtag #bestival16 but for now here's some photos from last year's fun! If you wanna party with us this year (we highly recommend you do, you won't regret it!) you can purchase your tickets here.
Yesterday we had the opportunity to get our spandex on and get our boogie on with Light & Free at their magic morning rave workout class! When our alarms went off that morning we couldn't think of anything we'd less rather do than go for a morning rave, but it turned out to be one of the most fun events we've ever been to!
We're no gym freaks so this is all new to us, we never realised how fresh and revived we'd feel after a morning dance party. Before we started the magic morning rave we sipped on delicious healthy juices and had our glitter done. Ain't no party without a bit of glitter! The rave was led by this super sassy dance instructor who taught us a funky little dance routine, it wasn't very strenuous but by the end of it we were all sweating! Heli even said she ached the day after!
It was based on the middle of Old Street's magic roundabout which made it even cooler - we had no idea that place even existed.
Hey lovelies, hope you are all well!
So festival season is officially in full swing and for us Confetti's pretty much every weekend we are shimmying off to another festival. So far we have already sassed up Lost Village, Secret Garden Party, Wireless, Isle of Wight and now Latitude!
...aaaa we are absolutely loving life!
Heidi & Tiger went to Latitude festival with Beyond Retro. Both of us had never been before and wow what a lovely surprise, Latitude is such an amazing festival!! One of the best we have attended so far this year. It doesn't matter how old you are, you will totally love this festival. There was something for everyone.
We recently teamed up with Ribena Light on their amazingly colourful new campaign which is all about things that make you smile, joy, quirk and lots of fruity fun. Obviously colour and spreading positivity is a huge part of our ethos so we were extremely excited to get involved with this. You can't get any more Ribenary!
We spent the afternoon at their Colouring Cafe and OMG we totally forgot how uplifting it was to colour in! There were 120 tiles drawn by illustrator Alex Lucas being coloured in by us and the rest of the guests who attended. This was then put up onto a big wall to create a giant psychedelic, amazing masterpiece. The day was full of fun, rainbows, laughter and dancing! What more can we ask for?
As you can probably tell, Confetti summers are full of festivals. We love love love boogying on down at any given opportunity. So far we have been to Lost Village together, Lulu has been to Summer Social, Heidi has been to Isle Of Wight festival and Tiger has been to Meadows In The Mountains. The next one coming up is Latitude! Its just Tiger and Heidi going but nether have been so its going to be exciting! New festivals are the best!
