One of the most common questions we're asked is 'where do we find our colourful clothes?' and aside from thrifting and wearing second hand/vintage clothes (and our own brands of course), we LOVE to support fellow female independent brands. It's so important to support your local girl boss whenever you can! Even just one sale can make a huge difference to an independent designer's day. Also a huge perk of shopping independent is the fact that you're likely to buy something that not a lot of other people have (in comparison to the mass produced high street) so you're gonna be looking extra unique!
So today I thought I would introduce (if you don't already know them) and tell you a little bit about some of our favourite UK brands that we love and wear the most.
No Basic Bombshell
No Basic Bombshell is an incredible, sparkly jewellery brand run by the lovely Natalie who we absolutely adore. As a group we have the most impressive No Basic Bombshell earring collection! Glittery novelty earrings for dayzzzz. Natalie designs and creates the sassiest statement earrings. Think, flamingos, rainbows, pineapples, dollar signs - all of the fun! We have actually teamed up with Natalie to create our own designs so keep an eye out for the Confetti Crowd x No Basic Bombshell collection coming soon. A percentage of the profits will be going towards some of our fave charities!
Jade Clark is the queen of funky swimwear and has kitted us out on many of our holidays! If you're after bright, bold, printed high cut swimwear then Jade's your gal. She's been super busy lately getting ready to be stocked in Topshop and you can also buy her creations on Depop and on her website here. Jade and I are actually teaming up for a super sassy, 90s inspired Jade Clark x Sassy World collaboration this summer. You heard it here first ladies!
Willows Call is run by the wonderful, fellow vegan girl boss Jennifer and she's the absolute don at making the most flattering, unique flares! Jennifer's new collection is what dreams are made of, consisting of sequin two pieces, ruffley sheer flared jumpsuits and diamante perfection. We can't wait to rock it this festival season! Jennifer has previously teamed up with our gal Tiger for an amazing Easy Tiger collaboration which sold out super quick and I believe there's a round 2 in the works, coming this summer...
The Glitter Snake
This lady is so talented! She makes completely handmade crochet pieces, our faves being the tassel top and granny square shorts, a firm go-to festival outfit amongst the Confetti's! So much love goes into each and every piece and it's been amazing watching her brand grow over the last year.
Honey clothing is a brand spanking new label designed, made and run by a lovely gal called Amy. I first came across Honey Clothing after a friend sent me a screenshot on Instagram because he thought I would love it and he was SO right, I instantly fell in love with the retro aesthetic and OMG the barbie cord dungarees. I am now the proud owner of the dungarees in every colour, the mesh tops and the patchwork coat and everything is such high quality, you can tell everything is made with such love. You can shop Amy's incredible first collection here.
If you've found yourself crushin' over Heidi's fabulous rainbow stripe dress in this shoot then go and check out Babydol Clothing! Babydol Clothing is run by the super sweet Megan who also makes everything herself. If you're after some colourful, rainbow, glittery garms for festival season then support your local girl boss Megan and shop her magical creations on her depop store or here.
