This weeks Artist Of The Week is Emily Coxhead, creator, director, designer, editor, promoter and postman of The Happy Newspaper. Emily is from a tiny village in Lancashire and strives to add as much happiness to the world through creativity. “I graduated in Graphic Design from Manchester School of Art in 2014, decided to go Freelance and do exactly what I wanted to do and make others a little bit happier in the process." Emily's main aim is to add a little bit of sunshine to a person's day. We absolutely love Emily's colourful and vibrant illustrations and art work, it inspires us to be more cheerful and more positive.
Emily's illustrations and greeting cards are colourful, creative and effective. Her cute hand drawn slogans are an inspiration to say the least. Emily is an all round creative with a Girl Boss attitude. Working for herself and spreading positive vibes while doing it.
The Happy Newspaper is filled by magical empowering words all started by kickstart campaign of £500. Full of hand picked happy stories from around the globe. This newspaper does the complete opposite to all the current newspapers, this is one celebrates what’s good in the world whilst being creative and colourful to look at.
